Introduction - Chapter (The Mount) - 52 (L-3123)
This is fifty second Chapter according to order of Holy Qur’an. It has two Sections, and was revealed during primary times of stay at Makkah. It has been described by drawing attention of the mankind towards the nice things created by Allaah Almighty that the people must imagine from the things of the universe concerning the Divine Power of their Creator, and believe that only He Alone is their God, and follow His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), and admit that Holy Qur’an is His last True Book.
O mankind! Understand it thoroughly that the disobedient will certainly be punished by Allaah Almighty. No one can prevent Him from it. Such torment will be on that Day when the heaven will heave with awful heaving, and the mountains will move away with awful movement like flakes of cotton. When that Day will come, then disbelievers of Allaah Almighty, His Messenger and His Qur’an will fall upon evil days. Those, who have been wasting their life in worldly amusements and tell lies of various sorts, will be pushed into the Fire of the Hell. And it will be said to them: This is the Fire to which you used to consider a lie. Speak now! Is it a magic or still you are unable to understand? Cry or be silent now, however you have to dwell in the same and it is punishment of your own wicked deeds.
On
the other side, those people, who used to believe in Our Commandments and
escape from wrong works due to fear of Our punishment, will be sitting in the
Gardens comfortably on that Day and enjoying with the blessings of Allaah
Almighty. He will save them from the Hell and say to them: Eat and drink!
Eating and drinking here will neither cause indigestion and nor cause any bad
results. This is retribution of such works which you used to do in the world.
They will be reclining on ranged couches. And We shall wed them to fair ones
with wide, lovely eyes. Their children also will meet to them on the condition
that they too believed and did good works like them. Justice will be done with
everyone on that Day. Every individual will receive whatever he earned during
worldly life. Do good and have good! And there will go round, waiting on them
men-servants of their own.
The dwellers of Paradise will say to one
another: We were afraid of our End that what would happen with us in the life
after death, and we used to pray before Allaah Almighty for deliverance
from the Fire. So He saved us. He is the Benign and the Merciful.
After
that it has been commanded to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace
be upon him): Recite before the people Commandments useful for them because
these are true. Those who say that Our Commandments are magic, poetry or a wild
guess, it is entirely wrong. It is the Word of Allaah Almighty. If they
do not admit then they should wait for Our punishment which will pounce upon
them in the Hereafter. Before that torment they will be punished in the world
also. You must obey the Command of Allaah almighty with patience. He has
been watching. Stand before Him early in the morning and evening, and remain
busy in His worship and praise.
