Worship your Lord (L-3122)

مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ 57 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ 58 فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ 59 فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ 60 |

57. Maaa ‘uriidu minhum-mir-Rizqinw-wa maaa ‘uriidu ‘any-yut-'imuun. 58. InnAllaaha Huwar-Razzaaqu Zul-Quwwatil-Matiin. 59. Fa-‘inna lillaziina zalamuu zanuubam-misla zanuubi ‘as- haabihim falaa yasta'-jiluun. 60. Fa-waylul-lillaziina kafaruu
miny- Yawmihimul-lazii

57. I
seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 58. Lo!
Allah! He it is that gives livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 59. And
lo! For those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day
(which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on
(that day). 60. And
woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. |
It is commanded: I do neither want any provision from My slaves, and nor do I desire that they must arrange to feed Me as you want from your slaves. You consider that devotion is it that your slave should earn something and give you everyday; so that your daily requirements may be fulfilled. I need nothing. I desire that they should obey My Commandments and adopt the Path in the world prescribed by Me. I shall fulfil their entire requirements because I have full Power and perfect Authority both.
The people, who do not believe in Me and follow
own desires, are wrongdoers. For them is a portion of punishment like the
portion of their predecessors, so they should not urge Me impatiently for
punishing. The Day of Resurrection is near to come and the wrongdoers, who do
not believe in Me, will be tormented properly. That Day certainly will come as
they are promised. When that Hour will come, they will be helpless.
