8. Their
reward is with their Lord: Gardens of Eden underneath which rivers flow,
wherein they dwell for ever. Allah has pleasure in them and they have
pleasure in Him. This is (in store) for him who fears his Lord. |
It is commanded: Reward from Allaah Almighty for those who believe in Him and do good works; is it that the Gardens are ready for their dwelling perpetually, underneath which rivers will be flowing. And the important matter is it that Allaah Almighty will have pleasure in them and they will have pleasure in Him.
Bear in mind! This dignity will be for such people in the Hereafter who fear Allaah Almighty in this world, obey His every Commandment and avoid wicked deeds.
Chapter 98 “The Clear Proof” is over. It has been described in
this Chapter: The condition of the world had been disordered. There was no form
of mankind’s correction except it that a Messenger of Allaah Almighty
(grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) should come to them, recite The
Commandments mentioned in His Scripture before them and warn them. Alas! They
did not reap advantage from him and still they dispute mutually with one
another. They were informed clearly that they should establish worship of Allaah
Almighty wholeheartedly and pay the poor-due, because it was the way of every
firm nation and will remain always. But the people thought wrong and said: This
is the religion of a particular nation. So they denied the actual religion of
their Lord.
