Wealth can't save from God’s punishment (L-3469)
|
وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ 11 إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ 12 وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْءَاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ 13 فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ 14 لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى 15 ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ 16 |

11. Wa
maa yugnii 'anhu maa-luhuuu
‘izaa taraddaa. 12.
‘Inna 'alayNaa lal-hudaa.
13. Wa ‘inna
laNaa lal-‘Aakhirata wal-‘Uulaa.
14. Fa-‘anzartukum Naaran-
talazzaa. 15. Laa
yaslaahaaa ‘illal-‘ashqaa. 16.
‘Allazii kazzaba wa
tawal-laa.

11. His
riches will not save him when he perishes.
12. Lo! Ours it is (to give) the guidance 13. And lo! Unto Us belong the latter
portion and the former. 14. Therefor
have I warned you of the flaming Fire 15. Which
only the most wretched must endure, 16. He
who denies and turns away. |
It is commanded: When a mankind commits bad works in the world, is punished properly; sometimes in this world, otherwise he shall be punished in the Hereafter surely. He will not find any saviour when he will fall down in the ditch. Wealth of anyone cannot save him from the punishment, because it is useless in this matter.
After that, it is commanded: Showing the right path is incumbent upon Us, but We do not compel any person for this purpose. This world and the Hereafter, everything is in Our Hand. We can give reward and punishment everywhere. Listen! I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing. None will enter to burn therein except the most wretched one, who had denied and turned away.
The mankind must not remain in such deception
that he will be able to get deliverance by means of bribe on the Day of
Resurrection also, as he is saved from the punishment by giving bribe to the
officers in the world. The Ruler of that Day will be Allaah Almighty;
Who is Pure from every want. No one should consider that his wealth will also
be useful in the Hereafter. Every worldly thing, which one possesses, will be
left behind in this world at the time of death. Suppose! If someone will have
something to pay in the Hereafter, even then no one will take it from him,
because Allaah Almighty is not needy of any worldly thing. While there
neither intercession will be useful and nor bribe, then you must understand it
thoroughly that blazing Fire is ready there for the wrongdoers. Only those will
fall down in the Fire who disobeyed the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and
peace be upon him) in the world and turned away from Holy Qur’an. At
that time, they will come to know that they are most unlucky people, because
there will be none who may help them. Our Lord! Save us from helplessness on
the Day of Resurrection. Amen.
