The end of the disbelievers

The end of the disbelievers (L-3466)

9.  Qad  ‘aflaha  man-  zakkaahaa.  10.  Wa  qad  khaaba  man-  dassaahaa.  11.  Kazzabat  Samuudu  bi-tagwaahaaa.  12.  ‘Izimba-'asa  ‘ashqaahaa.  13.  Fa-qaala  lahum  RasuulUllaahi  NaaqatAllaahi  wa  suq-yaahaa.  14.  Fa-kazzabuuhu  fa-'aqaruu-haa.  Fadamdama  'alayhim  Rabbuhum-  bi-zambihim  fasaw-waahaa.  15.  Wa  laa  yakhaafu-'uqbaahaa. (Section 1/16)

9. He is indeed successful who causes it to grow,  10. And he is indeed a failure who stunts it.  11. (The tribe of) Thamud denied (the truth) in their rebellious pride,  12. When the basest of them broke forth  13. And the messenger of Allah said: It is the she-camel of Allah, so let her drink!  14. But they denied him, and they hamstrung her, so Allah doomed them for their sin and raised (their dwellings).  15. He dreads not the sequel (of events).

It is commanded: The mankind was informed in the previous verses that the forces and things opposite from one another were included in the creation of the world. When this collection of opposite things was prepared and its elements began to work correctly at their proper places, then its substance and pattern was kept in the creation of the mankind. Accordingly, when the soul of the mankind was made, at that time; all such things did already exist in the mankind, with the difference that sufficient sense for understanding was given to the mankind, by which he could know that some things were advantageous for him and some harmful. Therefore, he should train himself in such a way that harmful things may not overcome upon fruitful things, otherwise its result will not be good for him.

Therefore, it is commanded: The mankind who trained himself in such a way that his soul would not be soaked through wrong deeds, passed his life according to Commands of Our Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and the Scripture, and saved himself from harmful things, that will be a successful person and his desires will be fulfilled on the Day of Resurrection. However that who will be entangled in wicked deeds and will not think to save himself from harmful things, will entirely be in loss and will pass his life after death in pains, grief and calamities. This is the most valuable advice which has been described in this Chapter. By describing the example of the folk of Thamud in the last part of this Chapter, the same has been manifested very clearly.
