Punishment of disbelievers (L-3437)

فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ 24 إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ 25 |

24. Fa-bash-shirhum- bi-'Azaabin
‘aliim. 25. ‘Illal-laziina ‘aamanoo
wa 'amilus-saalihaati lahum
‘Ajrun gayru mamnuun. (Section

24. So
give them tidings of a painful doom, 25. Save
those who believe and do good works, for theirs is a reward unfailing. |
It is commanded: Give them tidings that every human being will certainly be given the retribution of such entire deeds which they do in this world. No deed of anyone will be useless. A painful and severe punishment will be for them who disbelieved here and did wrong. But those, who believed and did good works, for them is a reward uninterrupted; which will be forever.
In this Chapter, it has been described to the mankind: The state of the world does not remain the same, but changes come always. At last such change will come that everything will be perished. After that the entire human beings will be brought back to life again, their deeds will be checked, wrongdoers will be suffering from very severe doom in the Hell and the righteous believers will be sent in the Paradise, where they will dwell perpetually with comfort.
Introduction of Chapter “BURUUJ” – (The Mentions of the Stars)
According to order, this is Eighty-Fifth
Chapter of Holy Qur’an. Such people have been threatened in it; who used
to molest the Muslims, and the Muslims have been consoled. It has been
indicated towards the circumstances of a Jewish King, named Zunawaas
of Yemen’s Township Najraan. He arranged to dig a trench, stirred a fire
in it and cast the Believing Christians into it. The Christians accepted to be
burnt but did not leave their religion. At last that King was ruined, the
Country was possessed by the King of Abyssinia, who remained until “The Year of
Elephants” {that was the year when Muhammad, the last Messenger of Allaah
Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon) was born}. Zunawaas
and other Jewish people were seeing the sight of Believing Christians’ burning
at the edge of the trench. Meanwhile the fire burst forth into flames and
spread in the entire Township. The entire Township was burnt into ashes. By
indicating towards this historical event, it is required to remind the disbelievers
of Makkah that molesting the believing men and the believing women due
to their belief only; is base of destruction, which can appear any time, sooner
or later. If they are saved in this world, even then they will be burnt in the
Fire of the Hell. The Believers will enter the Garden due to standing firm on
their belief with patience, where they will dwell forever comfortably. After
that it has been warned: The seizure of Allaah Almighty is very strong.
He has Divine Power, is very Forgiving, Merciful and Owner. So everyone must
obey His Commandments which exist in Holly Qur’an.
