There is only one form of guidance (L-3480)

Chapter  “BAYYINAH” (The Clear Proof) - 98

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ 1  رَسُولٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُوا۟ صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً 2  فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ 3  وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ 4

1.  Lam  yakunillaziina  kafaruu  min  ‘Ahlil-Kitaabi  wal-Mushri-kiina  munfak-kiina  hattaa  ta’-tiya-humul-BAYYINAH.  2.  Rasuulum-minAllaahi  yatluu  suhufam-mutahharah.  3.  Fiihaa  kutubun  qayyimah.  4.  Wa  maa  tafarraqal-laziina  ‘uutul-Kitaaba  ‘illaa  mim- ba'-di  maa  jaaa-‘at  humul-Bayyinah.

1. Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters could not have left off (erring) till the clear proof came unto them,  2. A messenger from Allah, reading purified pages  3. Containing correct scriptures.  4. Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them.

According to order this is ninety-eighth Chapter of Holy Qur’an. It was revealed during the first year of Prophet’s flight (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) from Makkah to Madinah. It has been explained in this Chapter: Condition of the both – the religious and the atheistic had been spoiled. The Jews, the Christians and the idolaters had denied Allaah Almighty, made their separate gods and were divided in different sects. They used to quarrel and dispute with one another in routine. There was no such sensible or powerful person who might show them right path. The only form of betterment was that a new great Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) must come and recite before them clear verses of Holy Qur’an. Accordingly, that Messenger came and the truth was disclosed, but even then the people had been entangled in different sectarianism and disputes due to their arrogance and stubbornness, whereas skill of unity and amity was explained before them that, “Believe in Allaah Almighty, establish worship and pay the poor-due. It is the perfect and complete Religion”. But they denied.

Now the People of the Scripture and the idolaters should listen that they are the worst from the creatures, and will be cast into the Hell forever during the life after death. However those who will believe and do righteous works in the world, they are the best of all other creatures. Their reward with Allaah Almighty will be gardens of perpetual residence; underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. Allaah Almighty will be pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever feared his Lord.

It is commanded: The form of the religion had been spoiled in the world. Entire people had left Allaah Almighty, whether those were “the People of the Scripture” or idolaters. Advising to anyone of them was not possible. There was only one form that one selected Messenger of Allaah Almighty should come along with a new Book, in which all necessary matters must be mentioned, and he should recite it before the people.

Therefore it happened. At first Jesus (peace be upon him) was appointed as a Messenger and then Muhammad came as the last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) along with summary of all previous Scriptures in the form of Holy Qur’an. But the people rejected both the Messengers. Many sects of Jews and Christians were raised among the Children of Israel because they had different opinions concerning Jesus. Then in spite of knowing Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) well, they began to oppose and made many separate groups. The Muslims have also been divided in different sects instead of being united on the Religion Islam. People of every sect consider that their sect is the actual Religion, and they try to defeat and remove other all sects. After the clear Message of Islam, there is no space of obstinacy and nor there is any suitable reason of standing still upon one’s sect. Holy Qur’an has explained: Country and nationhood etc. do not have any importance. Persecution is worse than slaughter. The truth is in it that there is only one Straight Path for entire human beings i.e. believe that only Allaah is the Lord of the worlds, bow down before Him only, and spend your wealth, which is more than your requirement, for fulfilling the needs of the poor and necessitous. This must be a foundation for establishing own organisation. Other all ways are useless.
