Why do they not believe? (L-3436)

فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ 20  وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ 21  بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ 22  وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ 23

20.  Famaa  lahum  laa  yu'-minuun.  21.  Wa  ‘izaa  quri-'a  'alayhi-mul- Qur-‘aanu  laa  yasjuduun.   (As-Sajdah – Bow Down) 22.  Balil-laziina  kafaruu  yu-kazzibuun.  23.  Wallaahu  ‘A'-lamu  bimaa  yuu-‘uun.

20. What ails them, then, that they believe not.  21. And, when the Qur'an is recited unto them, worship not (Allah)?  22. Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny;  23. And Allah knows best what they are hiding.

It is commanded: By observing the changes in the conditions of the Time, it is obvious that conditions of human beings also are changed like this. While you see such changes then why do you not believe that as adolescence comes after childhood, old age after youth and death after old age come, just like this after death you will have to pass through different stages step by step as – grave, resurrection, reckoning of deeds and Passing the Bridge (according to Muslims’ Belief; a Bridge on the Hell over which the Righteous will pass to Heaven and the wrongdoers will fall down in the Hell). There is no reason of denying this News of Holy Qur’an, which trains to get ready for passing through such stages. Contrary to it; these people oppose the Commandments of Holy Qur’an and do not fall prostrate before Allaah Almighty. Even some of them falsify the Word of their Lord (Let us flee to God). Allaah Almighty is the Knower about that whatsoever is in their hearts. Certainly the disbelievers and the wrongdoers will be punished. (Verse of Prostration)
