False thought concerning God (L-2986)
It has been warned to the disbelievers of makkah: God Almighty is Aware of your entire activities and cleverness. If you have determined to prevent the people from Islam, then We have determined too that Islam shall spread in the entire world, your all schemes of preventing will fail and you will be defeated.
When infidels of Makkah observed that the person before whom Holy Qur’an is recited by Muhammad (ﷺ), he admits its effect immediately and inclines towards Islam, then they gathered and counseled one another. “Islam would spread everywhere if you ignored this matter and then we shall not be able to do something. The Muslims will sing for joy and you will hang down your heads through shame. Therefore, you must make a secret plan immediately so that you may stop spreading Islam”. Then they decided collectively: Whoever from us has embraced Islam, if he is free then his relative, and if he is slave then his master - should rebuke and punish the Muslim, so that being irritated he give up Islam. Such people must be caused to understand carefully who come from abroad and visit Makkah that such a Man is born who tells new things. He is (God forbid) mad. Do neither attend to him and nor go close to him. He will lead you (Let us flee to God) astray. His sayings have influence like magical charm.
Accordingly, all of them covenanted that they will do so. Then they began to act upon it. In these verses, it has been replied: God Almighty has determined also that your all such plans shall surely fail. You will be disgraced and certainly Islam will get victory.
So it happened. Muslims underwent such sufferings by the hands of their relatives and masters that if those are described, the hairs stand on end. Even then, none of Muslims reverted from Islam. The disbelievers were disgraced everywhere. At last the Battle of Badr was fought which broke the spine of disbelievers.
After that, it is commanded to the Messenger (ﷺ): Explain before them! Islam invites you for your betterment and desires to correct your thoughts. How can it be correct that you determine children of God Almighty, and have begun to adore them in various forms? It is entirely impossible. I assure you that, suppose! If it is proved by strong proof that God Almighty has children, then as I, myself, am first of all and biggest worshipper of God Almighty, am ready to respect and adore His children as they deserve. O ignorant! What do you say? Any sensible person can never think that The Creator has His own children.
