Introduction - Chapter “DUKHAAN” - (SMOKE) – 44 (L-2991)
In order, this is forty fourth Chapter of Holy Qur’an and fifth from the Chapters which begin with the words Haa. Miiim. There is mention of Dukhaan (Smoke) in it. Therefore its name is chosen Dukhaan. It was revealed during the middle times of stay at Makkah and it contains three Sections.
When people of Makkah heard Qur’an, then those whose hearts were pure and fair, they understood that “It is a remarkable Word which shall get the upper hand certainly in the world. Some people were in doubt and some whose hearts were hard; they denied it clearly.
It was commanded: Meditate in the verses of Qur’an. This is very clear and manifest Book. We revealed it during a blessed night because We had to warn the mankind about harsh dangers. On the same night; every wise command is made clear by Us. It is appearance of the Mercy of your Lord Who brings up every living creature of the universe. There is no worthy of worship except Him. Giving life and death is in His Hand only. He is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.
What has happened with these people that they have doubts in their hearts and have been entangled in useless matters? Do you wait for that time when the Smoke will spread everywhere and the people will have been suffering from severe pain and troubles? They will say being confused: Our Lord! Protect us from this calamity, we shall have belief. But they will never believe. Our Prophets (Peace be upon them) showed them clear miracles which were falsified by them. If We stop the misfortune for some days, they will do the same as they did in past.
Bear in mind! Wrongdoers will be seized on the Day of Resurrection and every one of them will be retaliated. Before them, Pharaoh also did the same. He falsified Our chosen Messenger Moses (Peace be upon him), who showed miracles and said: Don’t molest me. Either believe or leave me including the Children of Israel, so that I may carry them away. But Pharaoh denied. At last We drowned Pharaoh along with his people in the river and they left their everything of luxury behind. There was no one who had to weep for them. Everything was finished in awhile. And the Children of Israel were released. Pharaoh was very haughty. Then We bestowed the Children of Israel with Our blessings. These idolaters of Arab also are proud. They say: There is no life again after death, death means dead forever, but you say that all people will be brought back to life again after death, if so; show us bringing back to life our forefathers.
O ignorant! We have destroyed those who were more powerful than you. You can’t compare yourselves with them. Use your sense. This world, the sky and the earth are not a game. You will come to know final result of this all on the Day of Resurrection. Good people will enjoy in the Gardens; where there entire desires will be fulfilled. But wrongdoers will be cast into the Hell. Wait if you don’t believe. Entire reality will be opened when the Time will come. https://youtu.be/sPqnnlSGojk
