Strange thinking (L-2967)
|
وَجَعَلُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ جُزْءًا إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَكَفُورٌ مُّبِينٌ
15 أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَىٰكُم بِٱلْبَنِينَ
16
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
17
أَوَمَن يُنَشَّؤُا۟ فِى ٱلْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ 18 |

15. Wa ja-'aluu lahuu min 'ibaadiHii juz-'aa. ‘Innal- ‘insaana la kafuurum-mubiin. (Section 1/7) 16.
‘Amittakhaza mimmaa yakhluqu banaatinw-wa ‘asfaakum
bil-baniin.
17. Wa ‘izaa bushshira ‘ahaduhum bimaa zaraba lir-Rahmaani masalan- zalla wajhuhuu muswaddanw-wa huwa kaziim. 18. ‘Awa many-yunashsha-'u fil-hilyati
wa huwa fil-khisaami gayru
mubeen. |

15. Yet
they turn one of His servants into a part of Him. Man is clearly ungrateful. 16. Or
has He chosen for Himself daughters from what He creates, and favored you
with sons? 17. Yet
when one of them is given news of what he attributes to the Most Gracious,
his face darkens, and he suppresses grief. 18. “Someone brought up to be beautiful, and unable to help in a
fight?” |
It is commanded: Condition of these people is strange. God Almighty bestowed many blessings to them. He created the earth and made roads on it for their moving from one place to the other, caused to rain from the sky by which He made the dry land green. It is proved from above statement that He can bring the dead back to life again. It would have been better for them if they had been grateful to Him on these blessings.
Contrary
to it, they are arrogant in His Grace, appoint His children from some of His
slaves, which is an open disloyalty. They did not think that the thing
(daughters) which they dislike for themselves, like for God Almighty Who
brought all of them to life. When one of them is
given good tidings of that (daughter) which he attributes to the Most Merciful
in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. Why do they not
understand that the creature, which is one brought up in ornaments, which may
not explain and fight, how can she be admitted as daughter of her (including
entire mankind’s) Creator, Who is the Knower, the Seer, the Owner and Almighty?
