What does this Chapter teach? (L-2990)
The people of Arab are being addressed and it is being commanded: Did you hear and understand this Book which discloses the Truth? Recite and meditate in its verses: Its aim is to educate you and make you a good pattern for all human beings of the entire world. You must understand it and explain before the world. We have made it for reciting in Arabic language. Its rank is very high and entire matters of wisdom have been mentioned in it. It has been recorded in “Lowh-Mehfuuz” (A Table on which the destinies of the world since its creation are written). No one can change or amend its Commandments. Revealing this treasure of blessing cannot be stopped due to your most rude people who turn away from it. There is betterment and welfare for the entire world in it. If you will not believe in it then other people will believe in it who are more intelligent than you. We sent Our Prophets (Peace be upon them) among the people before you also. Foolish people from them too misbehaved with Our messengers (Peace be upon them). Then what happened? We punished them due to their arrogance. Now they are in stories only. We have caused you to hear their circumstances in this Book for warning. You admit that this entire universe is created by God Almighty. Then why do you not follow His commandments? He is Most Powerful and Knower of everything. He is Who made roads for your movement in the earth, caused to rain from the sky and made the land luxuriant. When it becomes dead after withering, then He causes upon it to rain and brings to life again. Like this; He will bring you to life again after death. He is Who arranged boats and ships for your moving from one place to others in rivers and seas, and cattle for riding and going from one village to the other in dry land. Should you not be thankful to Him? Behold! Remember the kindness of God Almighty when you ride on them and say: Thanks God Who made them our obedient; otherwise we had no power to take work from them. We have to return to our Lord.
Behold! God Almighty has no children. All are His slaves. Determining His daughters is entirely a lie. Follow not the religion of your astray forefathers! The Religion explained by Holy Qur’an is better than that. Behold! When Abraham (Peace be upon him) found his father astray, he left his religion and believed that Allaah (God) is One only. And he bequeathed the same for his children too. You are his children, so you must follow him because he guided to the right path. Wealth and property of the world are nothing. The actual thing is future (the Day of Resurrection) which will be better for the Muslim Righteous people. Being careless from God Almighty is just like surrendering oneself before the Devil. The disbelievers will be punished very severely as Pharaoh and his people were punished.
After that, it has been described concerning Jesus (Peace be upon him) that he is a pattern of the Divine Power of God Almighty and a Token of the last Day. There is no doubt in the Day of Judgment. Except the righteous people, other all will be enemies of one another mutually on that Day. The Paradise is the best place for dwelling. You must give up ascribing plurality to Allaah if you desire to go to the Paradise. Those who do not believe in God Almighty, their End will be very bad.
