30. And
We delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating persecution. 31.
From Pharaoh. He was a transgressing tyrant. 32. And
We chose them knowingly over all other people. 33. And
We gave them many signs, in which was an obvious test. 34.
These people say. 35.
“There is nothing but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. 36.
Bring back our ancestors, if you are truthful.” |
It is commanded: We saved the Children of Israel from oppressions of Pharaoh, who was a great refractory. Then We made them superior intentionally to the entire people of their times, and bestowed upon them a lot of Our blessings, so that they may be tried and examined that who from them chooses the right path and who goes astray.
After
causing to hear the story of Pharaoh, it is commanded: These idolaters of Arab
deny the Day of Resurrection and say: There is
not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. Then they say: O
Muslims! Bring back our forefathers, if you believe in the life after death. We
do never believe in verbal pretensions.
