The loss of the Hereafter (L-3005)

وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُم مَّا كَسَبُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا مَا ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ 10b  هَٰذَا هُدًى وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ  11  ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِىَ ٱلْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ 12  وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِّنْهُ 13a

10b.  Wa  laa  yugnii  'anhum-maa  kasabuu  shay-'anw-wa  laa  mattakhazuu  min- duuNillaahi  ‘awliyaaa’.  Wa  lahum  'Azaabun 'aziim. 11.  Haazaa  Hudaa.  Wal-laziina  kafaruu  bi-‘Aayaati- Rabbihim  lahum 'Azaabum-mir-rijzin  'aliim. (Section 1/17) 12.  ‘Allaahul-lazii  sakh-khara  lakumul-bahra  litajriyal-fulku  fiihi  bi-‘amriHii  wa  litabtaguu  min-  FazliHii  wa  la-'allakum  tash-kuruun. 13a.  Wa  sakh-khara  lakum-maa  fis-samaawaati  wa  maa  fil-‘arzi  jamii-'am-minh.

10b  What they have earned will not benefit them at all, nor will those they adopted as lords instead of God. They will have a terrible punishment. 11. This is guidance. Those who blaspheme their Lord’s revelations will have a punishment of agonizing pain. 12. It is God who placed the sea at your service, so that ships may run through it by His command, and that you may seek of His bounty, and that you may give thanks. 13a. And He placed at your service whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth—all is from Him.

It is commanded: Such refractory people will be empty-handed on the Day of Resurrection. Property, wealth and assets collected in the world will be useless there. To whom they made their protecting friends instead of God Almighty, those will turn away from them. They will be brought up with a great torment. This Qur’an is a Guide for you if your senses have been working properly. Painful Doom is for them who turn away from it. Behold! Knowing God Almighty is not so much difficult. Think His blessings upon you! He made Seas and Rivers for your help. You use boats and ships for journeying by the Command of God Almighty, and reap big advantages by them in trading etc. Not only the Sea but He subjected to you all things of the heavens and the earth by His Mercy.
