Punishment cannot be avoided (L-2994)

16. The
Day when We launch the Great Assault—We will avenge. 17.
Before them We tested the people of Pharaoh; a noble messenger came to them. 18.
Saying, “Hand over God’s servants to me. I am an honest messenger to you.” 19.
And, “Do not exalt yourselves above God. I come to you with clear authority. 20. I
have taken refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me. 21.
But if you do not believe in me, keep away from me.” |
It is commanded: A Day of the Judgement is near to come at last when disobedient people will be retaliated and they will be tormented very severely. The doom will never be removed from them. They should not consider that they would be released without punishment. We shall punish them certainly. We shall retaliate due to their wicked deeds, not only in this world but on the Day of Resurrection also. After that, circumstances of Pharaoh and his companions have been described, by which this narration has been explained.
It is commanded: We tried the people of Pharaoh before these people that whether they refrain from their wrong deeds or otherwise. For this purpose, We sent Our trustworthy Messenger Moses (Peace be upon him), who said to them: Do not make slaves to them who are slaves of God Almighty, that is to say, hand the Children of Israel over to me and release them from your slavery. I am a reliable Messenger. Behold! Don’t rebel against God Almighty. I have been showing you clear Signs of my Messenger-hood. I am not afraid of your threats. I put my trust in Him Who is not only my Lord but He is your Lord too. I have sought His refuge. You cannot kill me. It is your affair with God Almighty if you do neither believe in me and nor believe in God Almighty, but disobey His Commandments. However you must not molest me. Get out of my way and let me take the Children of Israel from here. https://youtu.be/5wYm1SsQd_A
