Way of Abraham (L-2971)

وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةًۢ بَاقِيَةً فِى عَقِبِهِۦ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 28   بَلْ مَتَّعْتُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ وَرَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ 29   وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ 30   وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِّنَ ٱلْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ 31

28.  Wa  ja-'alahaa  Kalimatam- baaqiyatan  fii  'aqibihii  la-'allahum  yarji-'uun. 29.  Bal  matta-'tu haaa-'ulaaa-'i  wa  ‘aabaaa-'ahum  hattaa  jaaa-'ahumul-Haqqu  wa Rasiilum-mubiin. 30.  Wa  lammaa  jaaa-'ahumul-Haqqu  qaaluu haazaa  sihrunw-wa  ‘innaa bihii  kaafiruun. 31.  Wa qaaluu  law-laa  nuzzila  haazal- Qur-‘aanu  'alaa  rajulim-minal  qaryatayni  'aziim.

28. And he made it an enduring word in his progeny, so that they may return. 29. I gave these and their forefathers some enjoyment, until the truth and a manifest messenger came to them. 30. But when the truth came to them, they said, “This is sorcery, and we refuse to believe in it.” 31. They also said, “If only this Quran was sent down to a man of importance from the two cities.”

The aim from using the word ja-‘alahaa by Abraham (Peace be upon him) is “Laa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illAllaah (There is none Worthy of worship but God).

It is commanded: Which Word of Monotheism; Abraham (Peace be upon him) said to his father and his folk during his life, that is to say, Laa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illAllaah {There is none Worthy of worship but Allaah (God)}, the same he made a Word remaining among his descendants. Now if you desire to stand-still on the Way of your Forefathers, then you must keep footing of your greatest Grandfather Abraham (Peace be upon him). And that is the same Way, which Muhammad; the last Messenger of God Almighty (ﷺ) describes you. He invites you to follow the Religion of your greatest Grandfather. In fact, the greed of the world has led the people astray. They observe their closest fathers and grandfathers, who; being entangled in worldly matters; forgot that Religion which was established by their Venerable Forefather Abraham (Peace be upon him). Now for reminding the same Religion, We have appointed Muhammad, Our last Messenger (ﷺ). He describes the people clearly that what is the Truth, but they consider their death in accepting the Truth, because their forefathers of recent past were deceived by the world; who misled these people.
