Message of Jesus (L-2981)

وَلَمَّا جَآءَ عِيسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالَ قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى تَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ 63  إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ 64

63.  Wa  lammaa  jaaa-'a  ‘Iiesaa  bil-Bayyinaati  qaala  qad  ji'-tukum-bil-Hikmati  wa  li-‘ubay-yina  lakum  ba'-zal-lazii  takhtali-fuuna  fiih.  Fatta-Qullaaha  wa  ‘atii-'uun. 64.  ‘InnAllaaha  Huwa  Rabbii  wa  Rabbukum  fa'-buduuh.  Haaza  Siraatum-Mustaqiim.

63. When Jesus came with the clarifications, he said, “I have come to you with wisdom, and to clarify for you some of what you differ about. So fear God, and obey me. 64. God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him—this is a straight path.”

It is commanded: Equating Jesus (Peace be upon him) with idols is foolishness, and the person who has sense, although a little, he will understand immediately after hearing the declaration of Jesus (Peace be upon him) that he invited the people to worship One Allaah (God).

Listen! When Jesus (Peace be upon him) came in this world and showed Signs of His Prophet-hood to the people, then he said: O people! I have come to inform you regarding strong matters of knowledge and wisdom, so that you may correct your faiths in the light of my instructions. And I shall describe you some such lawful points also; concerning which you have been divided. Accordingly distinction between lawful and unlawful has become difficult. I shall explain very clearly that what should you do and what should you not do. You must produce fear of God Almighty in your hearts, Who appointed me as a Messenger and sent for your guidance. Follow me in all matters and obey my sayings. Don’t criticise! First of all I tell you basic and actual rule of the Religion, which is – Allaah is my and your Lord (of our all). So worship Him only. It is the best way of living in this world. And it is the Straight Path.
