34. Lo!
Those who disbelieve and turn from the way of Allah and then die
disbelievers, Allah surely will not pardon them. 35. So
do not falter and cry out for peace when you (will be) the uppermost, and
Allah is with you, and He will not grudge (the reward of) your actions. |
The mankind has so much power in the world that he can choose for himself the way which he likes and live as he desires, but for him there is only one such path which leads directly to his betterment in the both Worlds. Besides that Path, all other paths lead to destruction. Holy Qur’an has been sent for manifesting the same Straight Path and Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) explains “how to go right direction”. This Path is Islam, besides which all paths are of infidelity. Those will be punished severely on the Day of Resurrection; who disbelieve. However, if they prevent others from Islam by force, mostly they are punished even in this world too. The same has been explained in these verses
It is commanded: Those who
disbelieved and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allaah
Almighty forgive them. If they prevent others also from embracing Islam, you
must forbid them from doing so. If they get ready for fighting, straighten them
bravely by smiting, and don’t request for making a truce; fearing them who are
persecutors; until they refrain from violence; pursue the mischievous. At last
you will overcome. Allaah Almighty is with you. If you will live in His
obedience, He will never deprive you of the reward of your deeds. If you will
keep your footing on Islam, mischievous people will stand in awe.
