The End of Banii Nazayr (L-3220)
Chapter “HASHR” - (EXILE) - 59
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ 1 هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ ٱلْحَشْرِ مَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوا۟2a

1. Sabbaha Lillaahi maa fis-samaawaati wa maa fil-‘arz. Wa Huwal- 'Aziizul-Hakiim. 2a. Huwal-laziii ‘akharajal-laziina kafaruu
min ‘Ahlil-Kitaabi min
diyaarihim
li-‘awwalil-HASHR. Maa zanantum
‘any-yakhrujuu wa zannuuu
‘annahum maa ni-'atuhum
husuunuhum-minAllaahi
fa-‘ataahu-mUllaahu min haysu
lam yahtasibuu |

1. All
that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifies Allah, and He
is the Mighty, the Wise. 2a. He
it is Who has caused those of the People of the Scripture who disbelieved to
go forth from their homes unto the first exile. You deemed not that they
would go forth, while they deemed that their strongholds would protect them
from Allah. But Allah reached them from a place whereof they reckoned not, |
‘Al-laziina kafaruu min ‘Ahlil-Kitaabi – (the People of the Scripture who disbelieved), it aims “the people of Banii Nazayer, which was a great, rich and strong (in the sense of manpower strength) tribe of the Jews. They had strong Forts at a distance of a few miles away from Madinah.
‘Awwalil-HASHR – (the first gathering or the first exile), according to first meanings; it aims that the Muslim Army was gathered first time for them and they were confused from it, and they did not provide second chance for assaulting. According to second meanings; it aims that it was the first exile from Arab which the Jews inherited. Some of them migrated to Khyber and some marched up toward Syria. Second time they were exiled from Khyber in the Times of Omar, the second Caliph of Islam (May Allaah be pleased with him), and entire Jews and Christians were expelled from Arab, and they went to Syria.
It is commanded: Whatever is in
the heavens and whatever is in the earth exalts Allaah Almighty, and in
fact He is the Exalted in Might, and He is the Wise. It is He Who expelled the
people of Banii Nazayer (who disbelieved among the People of the
Scripture) from their Forts at the first gathering. You did not think that they
would leave so easily. They thought that their fortresses would protect them
from the wrath of Allaah; but they did not understand that they had to
be overawed by the Muslims. It was the decree of Allaah Almighty which
came upon them from where they had not expected, and they deserted in the
presence of strong manpower and availability of all war equipment.
