Deserving of the country's income (L-3224)

لِلْفُقَرَآءِ ٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا۟ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمْ وَأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضْوَٰنًا وَيَنصُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ 8 وَٱلَّذِينَ تَبَوَّءُو ٱلدَّارَ وَٱلْإِيمَٰنَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ فِى صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِّمَّآ أُوتُوا۟ 9a |

8. Lil-fuqaraaa-'il-Muhaaji-riinal-laziina ‘ukhrijuu min- diyaarihim wa ‘amwaali-him yabta-guuna Fazlam-minAllaahi wa Rizwaananw-wa yansuruu-nAllaaha wa Rasuulah. ‘Ulaaa-'ika humus-Saadiquun. 9a. Wallaziina
tabawwa-'ud-daara
wal-‘iimaana min- qablihim yuhibbuuna
man haajara ‘ilay-him
wa laa yajiduuna
fii suduuri-him haaja-tam-mimmaaa ‘uutuu |

8. And
(it is) for the poor fugitives who have been driven out from their homes and
their belongings, who seek bounty from Allah and help Allah and His
messenger. They are the loyal. 9a. Those
who entered the city and the faith before them love those who flee unto them
for refuge, and find in their breasts no need for that which has been given
them, |
It is commanded: Rich people do not have any right in this wealth and property which is attained from the enemies in any way (either by fighting or without fighting i.e. other means). It is for such people, who are poor, and there is also a share for the emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, who sought Bounty from Allaah Almighty and His approval; and supported Allaah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). They are Refugees. There is no doubt in their sincerity and truthfulness. And it is also for those who were settled already in Madinah and adopted the Faith before arrival of the Refugees. They are dwellers of Madinah from the beginning who love those who emigrated to them. They do not find any want in their breasts of what the emigrants were given.
