Review of Chapter “She who disputes” (L-3218)

One custom of the times of ignorance has been removed in this Chapter. In Surah ‘Ah-zaab (Chapter 33: The Clans) including this Chapter, it has been described clearly that the reality does not change due to saying something wrong by tongue. Wife does not become mother if one says mother to his wife, and no one becomes son if someone says that so and so is his son. Actual relatives cannot be changed by saying. However in some cases, one has to pay some ransom if one talks nonsense.

In this Chapter, it is emphasised that none should go out of the rules which Allaah Almighty has prescribed and dwell in the world under the limits of God’s prescribed Rules. Reflect in the circumstances of ancient people! They were ruined because they broke the Laws of Allaah Almighty. If you also did as they did, you too would be destroyed. Live in the world after understanding it thoroughly that Allaah Almighty is along with you every time, whether you are alone or accompanying others. He knows and listens to your every talk. You must not talk such nonsense, by which He may be displeased, if you understand it. Those people have been warned who considered Islam a mere joke and misbehaved with the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

After that, etiquettes of meeting have been taught to the Muslims. When someone joins any gathering, he should sit down where he finds some space; and should never consider that he is superior to others and that the people should welcome him warmly and give him place in front of all. It is absurd thought. Those must make room for the new comer by moving a little who already have been sitting. The new comer should not be proud but sit there; where some space is available; without waiting for civil reception. He should be polite because Allaah Almighty likes politeness and increases the degrees of such people. Particularly the Scholars must be more careful in this matter and must not be displeased on ordinary reception. It will be better for them. Allaah Almighty will bestow them higher ranks on their humbleness.

Human beings have been divided in two groups – Believers of Allaah Almighty and companions of Satan. Those who ignore Allaah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), and choose any other way instead of Islam, they will fail. Believers of Allaah Almighty, who abide by His commandments, will be successful in this world and in the Hereafter (at both places).
