Be cautious of the Day of Resurrection (L-3368)

Chapter “QIYAAMAH” – (The Rising of the Dead) - 75

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ 1  وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ 2  أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ 3  بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ 4  بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ 5  يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ 6  فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ 7  وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ 8  وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ 9  يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ 10

1.  Laaa  ‘uqsimu  bi-Yawmil-Qiyaamah. 2.  Wa  laaa  ‘uqsimu  bin-nafsil-lawwaamah. 3.  ‘Ayahsabul-‘insaanu  ‘allan-najma-'a  'izaamah. 4.  Balaa  Qaadiriina  'alaaa  ‘an-nusawwiya  banaanah. 5.  Bal  yuriidul-‘Insaanu  li-yafjura  ‘amaamah. 6.  Yas-'alu  ‘ayyaana  Yawmul-QIYAAMAH. 7.  Fa-‘izaa  bariqal-basar. 8.  Wa  khasafal-Qamar. 9.  Wa  jumi-'ash-shamusu  wal-qamar. 10.  Yaquulul-‘insaanu  Yawma-'izin  ‘aynal-mafarr.

1. Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 2. Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true). 3. Thinks man that We shall not assemble his bones? 4. Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! 5. But man would fain deny what is before him. 6. He asks: When will be this Day of Resurrection? 7. But when sight is confounded 8. And the moon is eclipsed 9. And sun and moon are united, 10. On that day man will cry: Whither to flee!

After swearing concerning two great things, which are closely related to each other, it is commanded: That is wrong which you think, but that is right which I say. The Day of Resurrection is very frightful, and the sense of the mankind is very important thing which reproaches him on committing evil. If you will meditate in these both things, you will come to know that on the Day of Resurrection; there will be very severe retribution of wicked deeds. The mankind is in this error that We shall not be able to assemble his bones again. It is vain imagination. We are Able even to proportion and set his very little joints and fingertips. We shall reproduce him correctly as he is. It is not so much difficult to understand.  But the mankind has become obstinate and desires to continue in sin. Listen! On the Day when Grandeur of Allaah Almighty will be manifested, vision will be dazzled, the sun and the moon will be darkened, then the mankind will be perplexed and say: Where is the place of escape?
