Where the correction must be started from?

Quran Chapter 80: 1 to 10 (Pt-30, Stg-7) درس قرآن

Where the correction must be started from? (L-3409)

Chapter ’ABASA” – (He Frowned) - 80

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

1.  'ABASA  wa  tawallaaa.

2.  An-  jaaa-‘ahul-'a’-maa.

3.  Wa  maa  yudriika  la-'allahuu  yazzakkaaa.

4.  ‘Au  yazzakkaru  fa-tanfa-'ahuz-Zikraa.

5.  ‘Ammaa  manis-tagnaa.

6.  Fa-‘anta  lahuu  tasaddaa.

7.  Wa  maa  'alayka  ‘allaa  yazzakkaa.

8.  Wa  ‘ammaa  man-  jaaa-‘aka  yas-'aa.

9.  Wa  huwa  yakhshaa.

10.  Fa-‘anta  'anhu  talahhaa.

1. He frowned and turned away

2. Because the blind man came unto him.

3. What could inform you but that he might grow (in grace)

4. Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him?

5. As for him who thinks himself independent,

6. Unto him you pay regard.

7. Yet it is not your concern if he grow not (in grace).

8. But as for him who comes unto you with earnest purpose

9. And has fear,

10. From him you are distracted.

It is commanded: The Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) checked to Ibne Umme Maktoom with reproof (who was a blind) when he approached him, because at that time the Messenger was conversing with great people of the Qureish. Coming of the blind and beginning to say something at such occasion was unpleasant to the Messenger.

Allaah Almighty said: O Our Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): How did you know that his arrival was troublesome? Probably, either he would have gotten purity of heart and soul by hearing your words or listened to the verses of Holy Qur’an, understood its Commandments and reaped advantage from it. You have been going to explain before the people who do neither care, nor desire to be modest from the sins and nor wish to understand. Causing such people to understand is not incumbent upon you. Let them continue if they want to remain involved in wicked deeds. There is no blame upon you. But it is not suitable for you to turn away from the person who fears Allaah Almighty and comes to you striving for accepting your advice.
