Introduction of “Those who drag forth” (L-3399)
Chapter “NAAZI-‘AAT” – (Those who drag forth) - 79
Number of this Chapter, according to order of Holy Qur’an, is Seventy Nine. It has two Sections. It was revealed during the primary times of stay at Makkah. The circumstances of the Day of Resurrection have been manifested in this Chapter too. And it has been described: The people, who are entangled in the matters of this world, will be trapped in the torment of the Doomsday after enduring the hardships of death. The Day of Resurrection will be established. At first this earth will be ruined by earthquakes consecutively. Then it will be recreated and the entire dead human beings will be brought back to life again and assembled in the Plain of Resurrection for accounting their personal worldly deeds. Allaah Almighty has appointed angels (peace be upon them) for giving death to the human beings and carrying them to their abodes by causing them to pass through the entire stages of life after death. And special angels (peace be upon them) have been appointed there for making arrangements of their reward and punishment according to their deeds.
The angels (peace be upon them) penetrate into the bodies of those who denied Allaah Almighty and chose this world only for engagement, pull their souls from their veins and nerves, because their souls are so much intimate of this life that those do not desire to come out from their bodies. But the souls of the believers and the righteous come out from their bodies as easily as a prisoner bird flies away as soon as the door of the cage is opened. The angels come for taking the souls of both kinds of people. After having control over the souls they glide in the air and reach the heaven and deliver them at their proper places. Then they make arrangements for their dwelling.
After that it is commanded: O people! Don’t forget the Hour when
the earthquakes will come on the earth continually, your hearts will begin to
beat and your eyes will be humbled. Alas! The people do not believe in it that
they will be brought back to life again after death, but they ridicule and say:
No one can come back to life after death when his bones also had been crumbled.
Our sense does not accept it that we should give up the amusements of this
world for enjoying the next life after death, and that we shall never die
again. We do not believe in it that after passing this life in restrictions; we
shall be brought back to life again, in which there will be dwelling with
freedom and satisfaction forever. There is mention of Pharaoh for such people
that he left the religion for the world. Think about him that how he was
drowned and punished in this world! Can you not understand from it that every
desire of the mankind cannot be fulfilled in the world? He tries to collect all
luxurious things of the world but the death overcomes. What is difficult for
Him in reproducing Who created the earth, the mountains, the plains, the
heavens and made complete arrangement of the entire universe? If you will
believe in the Day of Resurrection and do good works considering the reckoning
of your worldly deeds, it will be better for you.
