Forgot The Last Day (L-3370)

كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ 20 وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ 21 وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ 22 إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ 23 وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌ 24 تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ 25 كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ 26 وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ 27 وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلْفِرَاقُ 28 وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ 29 إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ 30 |

20. Kallaa bal tuhibbuunal- 'aajilah. 21. Wa tazaruunal-‘Aakhirah. 22. Wujuuhuny-Yawma-'izin-naazirah. 23. ‘Ilaa Rabbihaa naazirah. 24. Wa wujuuhuny-Yawma-'izim- baasirah. 25. Tazunnu ‘any-yuf-'ala bihaa faaqirah. 26. Kallaaa ‘izaa balagatit-taraaqii. 27. Wa qiila man raaq. 28. Wa zanna ‘annahul-firaaq. 29. Wal-taffatis-saaqu bis-saaq. 30. ‘Ilaa

20. Nay,
but you do love the fleeting Now 21. And
neglect the Hereafter. 22. That
day will faces be resplendent, 23. Looking
toward their Lord; 24. And
that day will other faces be despondent, 25. You
wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them. 26. Nay,
but when the life comes up to the throat 27. And
men say: Where is the wizard (who can save him now)? 28. And
he knows that it is the parting; 29. And
agony is heaped on agony; 30. Unto
your Lord that day will be the driving. |
It is commanded: The only reason of denying the Day of Resurrection
is that the people desire to reap only worldly advantage and forget the Day of
Reckoning. Remember! Faces of some people will
be radiant on that Day, looking at their Lord. But faces of some people will be
contorted. They will expect that there will be done to them something
backbreaking and they will be tormented very severely. O people! Give up
thinking useless and remember the time when the soul will reach the collar
bones and you will be at the death’s door, and your leg will be wound about
your other leg. The people will say, "Is there someone who may cure
him?" And the dying one will be certain that “it is the time of
separation”. The mankind will be driven to meet his Lord.
