Chapter “NABA’ ” – (The Tidings) - 78
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ 1 عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ 2 ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ 3 كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ 4 ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ 5 |

1. 'AMMA Yatasaa-‘aluun. 2. 'Anin-NABA-‘il- 'aziim. 3. ‘Allazii hum fiihi mukh-talifuun. 4. Kallaa sa-ya’-lamuun. 5. Summa
kallaa sa-ya’-lamuun. |

1. Whereof
do they question one another? 2. (It
is) of the awful tidings, 3. Concerning
which they are in disagreement. 4. Nay,
but they will come to know! 5. Nay,
again, but they will come to know! |
It is commanded: After hearing the recitation of the Day of Resurrection from Holy Qur’an, some among these people ask from one another in a joking tone and some as a clear denial: What is the Day of Resurrection? Say to them! About which thing you ask; that is very frightful. Holy Qur’an has manifested upon you concerning it as much as it could be disclosed in this world. You can neither ascertain more than it by your sense, nor can know and nor there is any need to know. Its reality will be opened on you when it will reach your heads.
Why these people inquire concerning the Day of Resurrection? Some of them say that it is nothing but deception. Some people say: We don’t believe that we shall come back to life again after death, because it is not understandable. It is only self-made tattle for frightening the people. Some are those who say: If there would be trouble or comfort in the life after death, it would be only for the soul, not for the human body. In short, many mouths, many tongues.
Say to them: Death comes suddenly, and when mankind dies; the
entire reality is disclosed upon him. You cannot understand by your sense
concerning the Day of Resurrection. It would be better for you if you believe
in that which Holy Qur’an has described, otherwise the last Hour will
reach you very soon and then you will come to know that “It is the Day of
Resurrection”. At that time you will not be able to do something but repent.
That repentance will be useless.
