Lesson hidden in this Chapter (L-3357)
Chapter “MUZZAMMIL” – (The Enshrouded One) - 73
Only a few people guessed that Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was not an ordinary Mankind. Ultimately, after observing correct signs, they believed that he was a Messenger of Allaah Almighty and began to follow his instructions. Eventually they showed doing such works under his supervision, from which the people of the entire world are wonderstruck till today. Most intelligent people are unable to understand that how he made so much astonishing changes in the world in such a short time. If they meditate in the history, they do not see any particular preparation for this revolution. That, which is visible; is – A few people who are without means, who neither have any military knowledge and nor war training, are surrounded by the enemies. Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him); to whom they consider that he is a Messenger of Allaah Almighty, recites before them some verses of Holy Qur,an and says: I convey to you only that which is sent to me by means of the Divine Revelation. The matter has been entrusted to the Lord of the worlds. That will surely happen which He will desire.
In fact, it was true that the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) did never say anything himself. It was the only preparation of the Muslims and their war equipment that they used to abide by the Commands of Allaah Almighty and obey His Messenger unhesitatingly, whether they had to work hard or confront difficulties. When this Chapter was revealed and he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) recited it before the people, they entire got ready wholeheartedly to act upon the Commandments mentioned in it, and he himself was in front of all of such people in this matter. It was described to them that they must recite Qur’an, nearly two-thirds of the night, or (sometimes) half or a third thereof, understand its meanings considering that Allaah Almighty has been looking everything, because the times of nights are far from noises and voices. You can understand and meditate in the meanings of Holy Qur’an easily during night hours. Pass your night hours in such a way and work like others during the day time. Moreover, you must remember Allaah Almighty every time and believe that He has been observing your every movement.
If the people around you misbehave and molest you; considering that you are strange people, then you must neither give them answer and nor dispute, hear them with patience and tolerate. It was the Exercise which was done by them for one year regularly.
After one year it was commanded: Now Midnight (Tahajjud)
prayer is not obligatory for common Muslims but it will remain obligatory only for
the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). The Muslims
should establish five prescribed and obligatory prayers according to promise
regularly, pay the poor-due to the poor and needy people from their wealth and
spend some portion of their earnings as much as they can, and consider that
whatsoever they spend for the help of others; is just like lending to Allaah
Almighty; Who will return the loan along with best reward, and you must ask for
His forgiveness. It was the Basic Training of the Muslims; by which they got
victory in every field.
