Introduction of “The Enshrouded One" (L-3350)
Chapter “MUZZAMMIL” – (The Enshrouded One) - 73
According to order, this is seventy-third Chapter of Holy Qur’an, which was revealed during initial days of Islam in Makkah. It has two Sections. In this Chapter, it has been described to the Messenger, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and his Believers that what they have to do for apparent and unapparent progress of the mankind. When this Chapter was revealed, at that time it was a commandment for the Muslims that they should worship Allaah Almighty after getting up during the night hours, so that they may get opportunity of inclining towards Allaah Almighty in solitude; when there is no noise or voice.
In this connection it is commanded: Get up at night and spend some time in the remembrance of Allaah Almighty. Establish prayer nearly half of the night or some less time and take rest in remaining time. Recite Holy Qur’an which has been revealed in the measure, word by word, and meditate in its meanings during offering the prayer. Certainly there is toil in the worship at night, but the matter which Holy Qur’an desires to describe, can be understood thoroughly. O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): We shall send very soon a very glorious Word of weight towards you. It is the way of preparation for that. Then you will have to work hard all day long for setting the people to right. The worship of Allaah Almighty at night is the best source for paying full attention. You must practise to turn your attention entirely; by putting all thoughts behind, because there is no Lord of you or of the worlds except Him. Therefore you must give your all works in His Charge and must not pray before any other. Don’t care concerning those who oppose you. Keep yourself separate from such people without quarrelling. Leave their affair upon Allaah Almighty who molest you and give you pain, if they are engaged in worldly matters and do not listen to you. We have prepared a very painful Doom for them. The Day of Judgement is near to come when the earth and the mountains will be broken into small pieces by earthquakes etc.
After that, it has been addressed to the human beings and described: We have sent Our Messenger, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) for your guidance, as We sent Our Messenger Moses (peace be upon him) for guidance of Pharaoh and his people. Pharaoh denied Our Messenger and was drowned very badly. There is only one form of safety if you desire to escape from the calamities of this world and the Hereafter; that you should obey the Sayings of Our Messenger and act upon the Commandments of Holy Qur’an, otherwise the Day of Resurrection is very horrible and surely that will come.
Then prayer of the night (Tahajjud) was lessened so much
which you can offer easily. However you must establish prescribed five times’
obligatory prayer regularly and pay the poor-due, because it is as you are
lending to Allaah Almighty, Who will return your loan in the form of
good reward. He is Well Aware of your entire deeds.
