Behaviour of wrongdoers in the world (L-3430)

وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ 30 وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ فَكِهِينَ 31 وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ 32 وَمَآ أُرْسِلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ حَٰفِظِينَ 33 فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ 34 |

30. Wa
‘izaa marruu bihim
yatagaamazuun. 31. Wa ‘izan-qalabuuu ‘ilaaa
‘ahlihimun-qalabuu fakihiin. 32.
Wa ‘izaa ra-‘awhum
qaaluuu ‘inna haaa-'ulaaa-'i lazaaalluun. 33.
Wa maaa ‘ursiluu
'alayhim Haafiziin. 34.
Fal-Yawmal-laziina
‘aamanuu minal-kuffaari yaz-hakuun.

30. And
wink one to another when they passed them;
31. And when they returned to their own folk, they returned
jesting; 32. And when they saw
them they said: Lo! These have gone astray.
33. Yet they were not sent as guardians over them. 34. This day it is those who believe
who have the laugh of disbelievers, |
It is commanded: When wrongdoers and those who are absorbed in worldly affairs, pass by these pious people, they squint to one another and indicate: Observe these stupid and foolish people (believers) that they remain involved every time in prayer, a fast, sermons and advice, and they have given up playing, amusements, laughing and singing any song etc. Behold! There is nothing in the world except these enjoyments for which we should wish to live. All people have been rising and inventing new things by means of Science, but these people who consider themselves righteous; have been falling day by day.
Ask from such worldly people: Why do you torment them? Are you appointed as guardians over them that you should watch them, mislead them who do not harm any other and make them fool? It depends on you if you do not desire to hear them. But you must not trouble them by violence.
After that it is commanded: On the Day of Resurrection the game
will be changed and the pious people will be successful. They will laugh at the
disbelievers and the deniers of the religion.
