Understand the Divine Power (a) (L-3384)

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ 14  وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ 15  أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ 16  ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ 17  كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ 18  وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ 19  أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ 20  فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ 21  إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ 22  فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ 23

14.  Wa  maaa ‘adraaka  maa  Yawmul-fasl. 15.  Way-luny-Yawma-'izillil-mukazzibiin. 16.  ‘A-lam  Nuhlikil-‘awwaliin. 17.  Summa  Nutbi-'uhumul-‘aakhiriin. 18.  Kazzalika  Naf-'alu  bil-mujrimiin. 19.  Way-luny-Yawma-'izillil-mukazzibiin. 20.  ‘A-lam  Nakh-lukkum-mim-maaa-'im-mahiin. 21.  Faja-'alNaahu  fii  qaraarim- makiin. 22.  ‘Ilaa  qadarim-ma'-luum./ 23.  Fa-qadarNaa  fa-ni'-mal-qaadiruun.

14. And what will convey unto you what the Day of Decision is! - 15. Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 16. Destroyed We not the former folk, 17. Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 18. Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 19. Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 20. Did We not create you from a base fluid 21. Which We laid up in a safe abode 22. For a known term? 23. Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging!

It is commanded: There will be all such accidents on the Day of Resurrection which have been mentioned, and that will be the Day of last Judgement. Do you know that how the Day of Judgement would be? On that Day, those people will be tormented very severely who denied Allaah Almighty in the world and disobeyed His Commandments.

After that it is commanded: Do you not know your Lord Who destroyed many former peoples? Then We will destroy them also who are the later ones. Thus do We deal with the criminals. At the End We shall ruin the entire living beings. Then We shall bring back the entire human beings to life again after death on the Day of Resurrection for reckoning of their accounts. The deniers will be in the worst condition on that Day. Don’t think that We cannot reproduce. In the beginning there was no mankind. Then We arranged to create all of you from a drop of liquid disdained (semen). We placed it in a firm lodging (womb of female) for a known extent. And We determined for bringing it up by means of prescribed ways correctly. Behold! Excellent are We to determine.
