Duties of winds and angels (L-3383)
Chapter “MURSALAAT” – (The Emissaries) - 77
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)
|
وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًا 1 فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًا 2 وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا 3 فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًا 4 فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا 5 عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا 6 إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ 7 فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ 8 وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ 9 وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ 10 وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ 11 لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ 12 لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ 13 |

1. Wal-MURSALAATI 'urfaa. 2. Fal-'aasifaati 'asfaa. 3. Wan-naashiraati nashraa. 4. Fal-faariqaati farqaa. 5. Fal-mulqiyaati zikraA. 6. 'Uzran ‘aw nuzraa. 7. ‘Innamaa tuu-'aduuna lawaaqi'. 8. Fa-‘izan-nujuumu tumisat. 9. Wa-‘izas-samaaa-'u furijat. 10. Wa-‘izal-jibaalu nusifat. 11. Wa-‘izar-Rusulu ‘uqqitat. 12. Li-‘ayyi Yawmin-‘ujjilat. 13. Li-Yawmil- Fasl. |

1. By
the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 2. By
the raging hurricanes, 3. By
those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 4. By
those who winnow with a winnowing, 5. By
those who bring down the Reminder, 6. To
excuse or to warn, 7. Surely
that which you are promised will befall. 8. So
when the stars are put out, 9. And
when the sky is riven asunder, 10. And
when the mountains are blown away, 11. And
when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 12. For
what day is the time appointed? 13. For
the Day of Decision. |
It
is commanded: By those pleasant winds sent forth
in gusts, and the winds that blow violently, and the winds that spread clouds,
and by those angels (peace be upon them) who bring criterion and those angels
who bring messages from Allaah Almighty and deliver to concerning
creatures, as justification of righteous works or warning for those who do
wrong, indeed, what you are promised is to occur. If you meditate in the works
being performed in the world by the winds and the angels, you will have belief
that certainly the Day of Resurrection will come, when stars will be
obliterated, and when the heaven will be opened, and when the mountains will be
blown away, and when the messengers (peace be upon them) will be brought
unto their time appointed for producing their folks and nations before Allaah
Almighty. The Day of Resurrection has been determined for all such works. This
world will remain as it is until arrival of that Hour. Do as you wish, but
remember! Your entire good and wicked deeds will be checked for judgement and reward
and punishment will be given to you on that Day.
