وَأَلَّوِ ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقًا 16 لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا 17 وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًا 18 وَأَنَّهُۥ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا۟ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا 19 |

16. Wa ‘alla-wis-taqaamuu 'alat-Tariiqati la-‘asqay-Naahum-maa-'an gadaqaa. 17. Li-Naftina-hum fiih. Wa many-yu'-riz 'an Zikri Rabbihii yasluk-hu 'Azaaban- sa-'adaa. 18. Wa ‘annal-Masaajida Lillaahi falaa tad-'uu ma-'Allaahi 'ahadaa. 19. Wa
‘annahuu lammaa qaama
'Abdullaahi yad-'uuhu kaaduu
yakuunuuna 'alayhi libadaa. (Section
1/11) |

16. If
they (the idolaters) tread the right path, We shall give them to drink of
water in abundance 17. That
We may test them thereby, and whoso turns away from the remembrance of his
Lord; He will thrust him into ever-growing torment. 18. And
the places of worship are only for Allah, so pray not unto anyone along with
Allah. 19. And
when the slave of Allah stood up in prayer to Him, they crowded on him,
almost stifling. |
It is commanded: If you all mankind and the Jinn had chosen the right path and the way of righteousness, then We would have enriched you with Our blessings and saved you from famine and drought, and revived you and your lands fully with water and provision, and benefited to you apparently and unapparent in all conditions, and examined you that whether you were grateful to Us on Our blessings or ingrate.
Trial of human beings is of two kinds – abundant wealth and
poverty. Test of poverty is very hard. There is a need of patience in it, in
which only a few people come out with credit. We would have protected you from
it. Trial by making rich is easy than poverty. In it only thankfulness is
required, and We would have determined for you this easy way of examination.
Bear in mind! Whoever will turn away from the
remembrance of his Lord; He will put such person into arduous punishment and
his confusions will increase day by day. And it has also been revealed upon me
{Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)} that the Masaajid
(the places of worship) and the
prostrations are only for Allaah Almighty. Therefore, you must neither
fall prostrate before any other than Allaah Almighty and nor invoke with
Him any other. And I have been described also that when the Slave of Allaah
Almighty stands up for supplicating before Him in prayer, they almost become
about him a compacted mass.
