State of the Righteous (L-3387)
|
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ 41 وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ 42 كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 43 إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ 44 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ 45 |

41. ‘Innal-Muttaqiina fii zilaalinw-wa 'uyuun. 42. Wa fawaakiha mimmaa yash-tahuun. 43. Kuluu washrabuu haniii-'am- bimaa kuntum ta'-maluun 44. ‘Innaa kazaalika Najzil-Muhsiniin. 45. Way-luny-Yawma-'izillil-mukazzibiin. |

41. Lo!
those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains, 42. And
fruits such as they desire. 43. (Unto
them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O you blessed, in return for what you
did. 44. Thus
do We reward the good. 45. Woe
unto the repudiators on that day! |
At first it was described that certainly the Day of Resurrection would come. On that Day, worldly deeds of every mankind will be checked. Those who forgot the Day of Reckoning and enjoyed in the life of the world as they desired, were careless from the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and His Scripture, they will be in very bad condition. Under the shade of smoke they will be driven to the Hell, flames and sparks of which will surround them from all around.
In these verses, circumstances of those people have been
described who passed their life of the world according to the Commandments of Allaah
Almighty, feared from His wrath and abstained from sins and wicked deeds. Such righteous people will be under the shades of the
Throne and green trees of the Garden, where springs of cold and sweet water
will be flowing for drinking. And fruits from whatever they will desire; will
be inclining close to them for eating in satisfaction for what they used to do.
They will not have any complaint in drinking and eating as they had during
their worldly life. It all will be reward of their such good deeds which they
used to do in the world and were careful always. They will be free for enjoying
their perpetual life in the Paradise as they will desire. But the deniers and
wrongdoers will be punished properly and will not be left free.
