Holy Qur’an is sufficient for us (L-3379)

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلًا 23 فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ ءَاثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا 24 وَٱذْكُرِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا 25 وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا 26 إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا 27 |

23. ‘Innaa Nahnu nazzalNaa 'alaykal- Qur-‘aana tanziilaa. 24. Fas-bir li-Hukmi Rabbika wa laa tuti' minhum ‘aasiman ‘aw kafuuraa. 25. Waz-kurisma Rabbika bukra-tanw-wa ‘asiilaa. 26. Wa minal-layli fasjud laHuu wa sabbih-Hu laylan tawiilaa. 27. ‘Inna
haaa-'ulaaa-'i yuhib-buunal-
'aajilata wa yazaruuuna
waraaa-'ahum Yawman- saqiilaa. |

23. Lo!
We, even We, have revealed unto you the Qur'an, a revelation; 24. So
submit patiently to your Lord's command, and obey not of them any guilty one
or disbeliever. 25. Remember
the name of your Lord at morn and evening. 26. And
worship Him (a portion) of the night. And glorify Him through the livelong
night. 27. Lo!
These love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous
day. |
Previously it was commanded: The believers, who do good works in the world, will enter the Paradise and will be delighted with various sorts of the blessings of Allaah Almighty. Now it has been explained that what we should do in our life of this world for entering the Paradise. It is a commandment for the common people that they must follow the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) step by step in every field of life. In these verses, he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is being addressed: Make your life according to the Commandments mentioned in Holy Qur’an, so that the people also choose the same way of life in your imitation.
It is commanded: We have sent down the
Qur`an progressively, so that the direction of the life may be corrected
according to its Commandments slowly and gradually. It is the reason that - as
and when there was a need of guidance, We sent down one or more verses in
accordance with the occasion, so that the people may learn easily from the
Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) acting upon them and go ahead by degrees. Now
you must not obey any sinner or ungrateful
disbeliever from among them, whether they try their best to entice you, but be
patient for the decision of your Lord. Mention the name of your Lord in prayer
morning and evening, fall prostrate to Him during the night and exalt Him a
long part of the night (Tahajjud Prayer). The disbelievers do not listen
to you, because they do not believe in the Day of Resurrection. So they love
the life of this world. Alas! They are careless from that important horrible
Day.
