Retribution of wicked deeds (L-3431)

عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ 35 هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ 36 |

35. On

the disbelievers paid for what they used to do? |
It is commanded: The deniers used to laugh at the believers in the world, but the believers used to tolerate with patience. On the Day of Resurrection, the believers will laugh at the deniers and say: Did you taste the relish of jesting which you used to do in the world? Haughty people will be ashamed on their worldly wicked deeds and repent that: Would that we had followed the believers, become like them in the world and were saved from the afflictions of the Day of Resurrection.
In this Chapter, it has been described to the mankind: You must live in the world in such a way that none is harmed by you. It is not better that you think about yourselves only and care not for any other. Every individual must bear in mind that harming others for personal benefits is such thing, from which Allaah Almighty has forbidden. Whosoever will harm others unnecessarily; will be punished severely on the Day of Judgement.
It has been described to every human being very clearly: Some works are sins near Allaah Almighty, so the mankind should avoid them. But some works are good. So the human beings should adopt doing such works which are good near Allaah Almighty. Understand it thoroughly: The angels (peace be upon them) have been writing everything whichever is being done by any mankind. When someone dies, his Character Book is saved at concerning Place. That determined safe place for wrongdoers is Sijjiin and for the righteous is ‘Illiin. Character Book of every individual has been marked particularly with a sign; by which it can be recognised clearly, and on the Day of Resurrection everyone’s Character Book will be handed over to every person.
It is known from this Chapter that only such person can escape
from the sins who believes in the Day of Judgement; and that the account of his
deeds will be checked and asked: Why did you disobey your Lord? You were warned
by His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) clearly that
on a Day every individual will be questioned about own deeds, wrongdoers will
be thrown into the Hell and the righteous will enjoy in the Garden. As you sow
so you shall reap.
