Denial of Caste (L-3091)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَٰكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓا۟ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَتْقَىٰكُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ 13

13.  Yaaa-‘ayyuhan-naasu  ‘inNaa  khalaqNaakum-min- zakarinw-wa  ‘unsaa  wa  ja-'alNaakum  shu-'uubanw-wa  qabaaa-'ila  lita-'aarafuu.  ‘Inna  ‘akramakum  'indAllaahi  ‘atqaakum.  ‘InnAllaaha  'Aliimun  Khabiir.

13. O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that you may know one another. Lo! The noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.

The thing which creates separation among the human beings is selfishness. A mankind will come close to the other so much, how much it will be pressed down. Obviously, when the mankind saw that he was alone and could not fulfill own all requirements, then after thinking concerning himself only; he began to pay attention towards other people, and human beings began to divide in different groups. After that the worst form of selfishness i.e. caste distinction began, and one group began to press the other down.

When caste distinction was spreading its poison, at the same time the nationalism increased along with it, by which mankind was confused more than earlier. It is manifest that these entire are different forms of selfishness. Islam caused the mankind to understand the actual matter for removing selfishness and determining its limits, and described: Inclination of overpowering others and maintaining own supremacy is like weevil for your collective life.

Listen! You all are children of Adam and Eve (peace be upon them). Your castes, tribes or lineage etc. are different sources of knowing one another easily. Don’t care them so much that you begin to dispute. You must think that all of you are slaves of Allaah Almighty and all are equal. He bestows to whom and whatever He desires. You must not remain inclined to be superior to one another in the world. Worship Allaah Almighty and obey His Commands. If someone desires that his grade should be higher in the Court of Allaah Almighty, he should be saved from wrong deeds due to fear of Allaah. The most noble of you in the Sight of Allaah is that who avoids; due to fear of Allaah Almighty; such works which are forbidden in the world. No matter of you is hidden from your Lord. He knows everything.
