Be patient!

Be patient! (L-3043)

فَٱصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعَزْمِ مِنَ ٱلرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسْتَعْجِل لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّن نَّهَارٍۭ بَلَٰغٌ فَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ 35

35.  Fasbir  kamaa  sabara  ‘ulul-'azmi  minar-Rusuli  wa  laa  tasta'-jil-lahum.  Ka-‘annahum  Yawma  yarawna  maa  yuu-'aduuna,  lam  yalbasuuu  ‘illaa  saa-'atam-min-nahaar.  Balaag.  Fahal- yuhlaku   ‘illal-qawmul- faasiquun.   (Section 4/4) (Part One Fourth)

35. Then have patience (O Muhammad) even as the stout of heart among the messengers (of old) had patience, and seek not to hasten on (the doom) for them. On the day when they see that which they are promised (it will seem to them) as though they had tarried but an hour of daylight. A clear message. Shall any be destroyed save evil-living folk?

If the human beings use their senses and understanding correctly which has been given to them, they can understand well three things easily:

1.   They will come to know after looking the sky and the earth that certainly there exists Someone Who created them and Who has Divine Power. And then after observing a regular system of the world, they will understand that He is the same One Who established it. There is none who may oppose Him, and that He is Allaah.

2.   It is incumbent for saving the mankind from going astray and showing him the Straight Path that Allaah Almighty must appoint His Messengers (peace be upon them) from time to time. Accordingly the chain of the Messengers is inevitable.

3.   Desires and longings of the mankind are more than the extent of this world. Therefore, another life is required for this purpose, for fulfilling their desires.

After that, Holy Qur’an will guide him and inform that Allaah is One, Muhammad is His last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), the Day of Resurrection is True, wicked people and wrongdoers can be punished in this world also for keeping up its system, otherwise they will be punished surely at full scale on the Day of Resurrection. After describing this all, it is being described to the Muslims by addressing the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): While these matters have been proved by Holy Qur’an and your senses, then you must also be patient like the courageous Prophets (peace be upon them) before you, who obeyed always the Commands of Allaah Almighty. Like them, you also must not be confused due to mischief of the disbelievers. Don’t hasten in their matter and leave it on your Lord! When they will be punished; then being confused they will consider that rest and respite of the world was equal to only one hour; which passed very soon and put them in calamity.

It is commanded: We gave a Message to them and entire human beings. Now they will have to be punished who did not act upon That Message, that is to say, the Commandments of Holy Qur’an and lived in the world as the disobedient.
