Muslims would have to get victory (L-3076)
|
وَلَوْ قَٰتَلَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوَلَّوُا۟ ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا 22 سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ ٱللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا 23 وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُم بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا 24 |

22. Wa law qaatalakumul-laziina kafaruu la-walla-wul- ‘ad-baara summa laa yajiduuna waliyyanw-wa laa nasiiraa. 23. SunnatAllaahil-latii qad khalat min- qablu wa lan- tajida li-SunnaTillaahi tabdiilaa. 24. Wa
Huwal-lazii kaffa ‘aydi-yahum
'ankum wa ‘aydi-yakum
'anhum bi-batni Makkata
mim- ba'-di ‘an ‘azfarakum
'alayhim. Wa kaanAllaahu
bimaa ta'-maluuna Basiira. |

22. And
if those who disbelieve join battle with you they will take to flight, and
afterward they will find no protecting friend nor helper. 23. It
is the law of Allah which has taken course aforetime. You will not find for
the law of Allah aught of power to change. 24. And
He it is Who has withheld men's hands from you, and has withheld your hands
from them, in the valley of Mecca, after He had made you victors over them.
Allah is Seer of what you do. |
It is commanded: If the people of Makkah, who disbelieve, had come out to fight you, they would have turned their backs in flight. Then they would not find any protector or helper because Allaah Almighty has established this rule that when there is a fight between those who keep their footing on the Truth and those who go astray, then the true people overcome consequently. This rule has been coming since long and will remain always. Neither someone can change it and nor anyone can reduce or increase it. And It also is Allaah Who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within the area of Makkah. And We caused the wicked people to seize by your hands who rushed headlong into the Muslims for spreading disturbance.
And Allaah is Seer of what you do. It is
an indication that some mischievous people of Makkah came rushing into Hudaybiyyah
for committing a riot, but the Muslims arrested them. After that, the Prophet
(grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) released them.
