Is it to destroy the world? (L-3055)

فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَن تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوٓا۟ أَرْحَامَكُمْ 22 أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمْ وَأَعْمَىٰٓ أَبْصَٰرَهُمْ 23 أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ 24 |

22. Fahal 'asaytum ‘-in tawal-laytum ‘an- tufsiduu fil-‘arzi wa tuqatti-'uuu ‘arhaamakum. 23. ‘Ulaaa-'ikal- laziina la-'ana-huMullaahu fa-‘asammahum wa ‘a'-maaa ‘absaarahum. 24. ‘Afalaa yatadabba-ruunal-Qur-‘aana ‘am
'alaa quluubin ‘aqfaaluhaa. |

22. Would
you then, if you were given the command, work corruption in the land and
sever your ties of kinship? 23. Such
are they whom Allah curses so that He deafens them and makes blind their
eyes. 24. Will
they then not meditate on the Qur'an, or are there locks on the hearts? |
It was described in the previous verse: They, who believed in Allaah Almighty and admitted that Muhammad; His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and His Book (Holy Qur’an) was their Guide, must be ready every time to obey every Commandment of Allaah Almighty as and when they are ordered. Obeying their Lord wholeheartedly is better for them. During stay at Makkah, Muslims were not permitted to fight against the disbelievers, although they troubled them so much, they had to have patience.
Now when you have been ordered to fight, you must not evade from obeying this Order. Some cowardice and showy people, who fear from death in war, lose the reputation of Islam.
After that it is commanded: Say to them! The aim is to remove
the mischief from the world and living together among human beings. For this
purpose, you have to fight sometimes. Now if you shirk your duty from removing
mischief, then it is obvious that you like disturbance. So would you perhaps, if you were given command, cause corruption on
earth and sever your ties of relationship? Those
who are neither ready to remove mischief and nor to sacrifice their lives, how
can you have expectation from them that they will establish justice when they
will have authority?
