Victories in future (L-3075)
|
وَعَدَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً تَأْخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هَٰذِهِۦ وَكَفَّ أَيْدِىَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَنكُمْ وَلِتَكُونَ ءَايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ صِرَٰطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا 20 وَأُخْرَىٰ لَمْ تَقْدِرُوا۟ عَلَيْهَا قَدْ أَحَاطَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرًا 21 |

20. Wa-'a-da-kuMullaahu magaanima kasiiratan ta’-khuzuu-nahaa fa-'ajjala lakum haazihii wa kaffa ‘aydi-yan-naasi 'ankum. Wa litakuuna ‘Aayatal-lil-Mu'-miniina wa yahdiyakum Siraatam-Mustaqiimaa. 21. Wa
‘ukhraa lam taqdiruu
'alayhaa qad ‘ahaatAllaahu bi-haa.
Wa kaanAllaahu 'alaa kulli
shay-'in Qadiiraa. |

20. Allah
promises you much booty that you will capture, and has given you this in
advance, and has withheld men's hands from you, that it may be a token for
the believers, and that He may guide you on a right path. 21. And
other (gain), which you have not been able to achieve, Allah will compass it,
Allah is Able to do all things. |
It is commanded: O Muslims! Allaah has promised with you of much booty which you will take in future. One of them is that you will get Victory on Khyber, which you have conquered. And it has been arranged that the people may not oppress you. There must be no fight and nor any partner with you in war booty, because on one side; the idolaters of Qureish cannot help the Jews of Khyber due to Peace Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, and on the other side; those people were prevented from participating in assault on Khyber who did not come out along with you for proceeding to Makkah, were not with you at the times of pledging allegiance (Bai-‘at Rizwan) and the Peace Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. It happened because the victory of Khyber was required to become a pattern of the Divine Power of Allaah Almighty and their faith on His Promises must be strengthened, so that they should try their best in obeying His Commandments, and hold; more than earlier; fast their Religion and follow the Straight Path unhesitatingly.
After that, there will be one more result of
the Peace Treaty of Hudaybiyyah that you will conquer Makkah
within a few days, though you could not conquer it at that time and returned
after the Peace Treaty. But Allaah Almighty has made arrangements of
that victory, which is in His Control. And it is fact that ever is Allaah,
over all things, Competent.
