Gratitude of God (L-3094)

يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا۟ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا۟ عَلَىَّ إِسْلَٰمَكُم بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَىٰكُمْ لِلْإِيمَٰنِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ 17 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ 18 |

17. Yamunnuuna 'alayka ‘an ‘aslamuu. Qul-laa tamunnuu 'alayya ‘Islaamakum. BaLillaahu yamunnu 'alaykum ‘an hadaakum lil-‘Iimaani ‘in- kuntum saadiqiin. 18. ‘InnAllaaha
ya'-lamu gaybas-
samaawaati wal-‘arz. Wallaahu
Basiirum- bimaa
ta'-maluun. (Section

17. They
make it a favour unto you (Muhammad) that they have surrendered (unto Him).
Say: Deem not your Surrender a favour unto me; but Allah does confer a favour
on you, inasmuch as He has led you to the Faith, if you are earnest. 18. Lo!
Allah knows the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seer of
what you do. |
The people who came to the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and embraced Islam, not only they showed but said also by their tongues such words; from which it appeared that without fighting they came and embraced Islam, so it was their kindness on the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and did not trouble him like others.
It is being commanded concerning them: They
consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say to them, "Do
not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allaah Almighty has
conferred favor upon you that He has guided you toward the Belief. If you speak
the truth that you have embraced Islam, you must be proud of your luck that by
entering Islam you have gotten opportunity of correcting your Belief and Faith.
It is the kindness of Allaah Almighty upon you. Now you must do such
works that you may reap advantage from Islam. You must not be Muslims only by
name and for showing, but act according to the teachings of Islam with true
hearts. And you must not consider that you can deceive Allaah Almighty
as you deceive the people." Indeed, Allaah Almighty knows the
Unseen aspects of the heavens and the earth. Understand it thoroughly that Allaah
Almighty is Seeing of what you do. (Praise be to Allaah! That is the end
of Stage 6.)
