Important hints in Chapter “PRIVATE APARTMENTS” (L-3083)
This is forty-ninth Chapter of Holy Qur’an, which was revealed during the ninth year of Hijrah in Madinah. There are two Sections of this Chapter. During that year, many tribes of Arab attended the service of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in troops and announced his obedience and submission. They and all other Muslims have been taught etiquettes and rules of interaction in this chapter. This chapter is foundation stone of Islamic society and cradle of human civilisation.
It is commanded: You must admit that the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is your leader; give him full respect. Whatever he says to do, that is the Command of Allaah Almighty. Your own opinion is valueless before him. Listen to that carefully whatever he says, and act upon it sincerely. Don’t speak loudly in front of him. Don’t call him to come out, if he is inside the home. Wait with patience. When he comes out himself, meet him with respect, keep interaction with one another mutually even that your collective power becomes so strong that all the wicked remain suppressed. Don’t agree to everyone’s saying without investigation, so that you may be saved from useless confusions. Belief is a great blessing, value it, avoid sins and remember that believers are brothers of one another mutually. No one must oppress any other. Press them who grip up their loins for oppressing, and if they don’t agree; beat them until they become straight. Behold! Mutual disputes can arise from little affairs, for example; teasing someone, giving him bad names which he doesn’t like, or disclosing someone’s faults with gestures, backbiting, distrusting by someone, and determining someone as a bad person without any reason, finding faults of someone for molesting; then trying to know, so that he may come under your control. All such matters are bad. Escape from them and remember that all people are equal. Don’t try to bully any other.
Caste, lineage and tribe are just for identifying each other;
not for showing personal predominance. All are equal slaves of Allaah
Almighty. To Him, only that person would hold highest rank who would be more
afraid of Him, and due to His fear He will avoid all the sins and evil deeds. Allaah
Almighty has been watching your entire deeds and knows very well what is in
your hearts. The one, who admitted Kalimah (There is none worthy of
worship but God, Muhammad is Messenger of God), is a Muslim. Now they should
follow the prescribed way of Islam, do righteous deeds and escape from evil
deeds, so that, the Light of Belief is born in their hearts. By embracing
Islam, don’t show your impression over others. Consider that Islam is a blessing
of Allaah. This is source of gaining Belief, upon which the salvation of
mankind depends.
