5b. That, in the sight of Allah, is the supreme
triumph - 6. And
may punish the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women, and the
idolatrous men and the idolatrous women, who think an evil thought concerning
Allah. For them is the evil turn of fortune, and Allah is wroth against them
and has cursed them, and has made ready for them hell, a hapless journey's
end. 7. Allah's
are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is ever Mighty, Wise. |
It was commanded: We bestow courage for doing good works and power of bearing difficulties to Our righteous slaves, so that We make room for them in Paradise as a reward.
It is commanded: Getting place in Paradise is a great attainment and success of the mankind in the Sight of Allaah Almighty.
Then it is commanded: Punishing the apparent Muslims and the idolaters is also required by disclosing them and providing them opportunity of working as they desire. They are the people who presume concerning Allaah Almighty as of evil nature and are hopeless from His help. Accordingly, no hypocrite came out from Madinah for Umrah along with you, O Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) except one. They (the hypocrites) thought: We must not go with the Muslims because the people of Makkah will seize and kill them.
On the other side, the idolaters of Makkah thought: Muslims have been coming on the name of performing Umrah (Pilgrimage), but they intend to take Makkah in their possession.
Both of them thought an evil thought concerning Allaah Almighty. The hypocrites of Madinah thought: He will not help the Muslims (Let us flee to God). However, if He helped, that help would be useless before so much great group (Let us flee to God). The idolaters of Makkah considered that the Believers were deceivers.
It is commanded: For such people is a misfortune of evil nature. Allaah Almighty has become angry with them and has cursed them. They
will go to Hell which is a worst place of dwelling. To Allaah Almighty
belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth. And ever is He Exalted in
Might and Wise.
