Answer of the objection (L-3176)

قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلْءَاخِرِينَ 49  لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَٰتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ 50  ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ 51  لَءَاكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٍ مِّن زَقُّومٍ 52  فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ 53  فَشَٰرِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَمِيمِ 54  فَشَٰرِبُونَ شُرْبَ ٱلْهِيمِ 55  هَٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ 56

49.  Qul  ‘innal-‘awwaliina  wal-‘aakhiriin. 50.  Lamaj-muu-'uuna,  ‘ilaa  miiqaati  Yawmim-ma'-luum. 51.  Summa  ‘innakum  ‘ayyuhaz-zaaalluunal-mukazzibuun. 52.  La-‘aakiluuna  min-  Shaja-rim-min-Zaqquum. 53.  Famaali-'uuna  minhal-butuun. 54.  Fa-shaaribuuna  'alayhi  minal-Hamiim. 55.  Fa-shaaribuuna  shurbal-hiim. 56.  Haazaa  nuzuluhum  Yawmad-Diin.

49. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! those of old and those of later time 50. Will all be brought together to the tryst of an appointed day. 51. Then lo! you, the erring, the deniers, 52. You verily will eat of a tree called Zaqqum 53. And will fill your bellies therewith; 54. And thereon you will drink of boiling water, 55. Drinking even as the camel drinks. 56. This will be their welcome on the Day of Judgement.

It is commanded: Say {O Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)} to all such people who deny - the Day of Resurrection and coming back to life again after death on that Day:  Indeed, all the former and the later peoples who died or will die, will be reproduced and gathered together for the appointment of a known Day. The entire human beings are included among them whether they were believers or disbelievers. But the deniers must listen to it carefully that they are astray because they consider that the Truth is a lie. Their End will be very frightful. In hunger they will eat from thorny trees of zaqqum (which will be like a species of thorny euphorbia) and fill up their bellies by it because nothing will they find there except it. And they will drink on top of it from scalding water as the drinking of thirsty camels, because they will be very hungry and thirsty. They sing for joy in this world but they have to die at last which they forget, and on the Day of Judgement they will be brought back to life. Then they will be entertained in such a way.
