1. When
the event befalls - 2. There
is no denying that it will befall - 3. Abasing
(some), exalting (others); 4. When
the earth is shaken with a shock 5. And
the hills are ground to powder 6. So
that they become a scattered dust, 7. And
you will be three kinds: 8. (First)
those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 9. And
(then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? |
WAAQI-‘AH – here it aims “the Day of Resurrection”.
It is commanded: Don’t forget the Day of Resurrection. Surely it
will come, which shall bring down some people
and raise up others. The earth will be shaken with convulsion. The mountains
will be broken down; crumbling and become dust dispersing. The human beings
will be divided in three groups. First group will be of the companions whose
Conduct Sheet will be given in their right hands. Second group will be of those
whose Conduct Sheet will be given in their left hands. First kind of people
will assemble on right side and second kind of people on
the other side. The people of third kind will be discussed in next lesson.
