The end of the disbelievers (a) (L-3151)

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ 17  كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ 18  إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِى يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ 19  تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ 20  فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ 21  وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ 22

17.  Wa  laqad  yassarNal- Qur-'aana  liz-Zikri  fahal  mim-muddakir. 18.  Kazzabat  'Aadun  fakayfa  kaana  'Azaabii  wa  Nuzur. 19.  ‘Innaa  ‘arsalNaa  'alay-him  riihan-  sarsaran-  fii  Yawmi  nahsim- mustamirr. 20.  Tanzi-'unnaasa  ka-‘annahum  ‘a'-jaazu  nakhlim-munqa-'ir. 21.  Fakayfa  kaana  'azaabii  wa  Nuzur. 22.  Wa  laqad  yassarNal- Qur-'aana  liz-Zikri  fahal  mim-muddakir. 17. And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembers? 18. (The tribe of) Aad rejected warnings. Then how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings. 19. Lo! We let loose on them a raging wind on a day of constant calamity, 20. Sweeping men away as though they were uprooted trunks of palm-trees. 21. Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings! 22. And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembers?

It is commanded: Getting advice from Holy Qur’an is easy on the condition that someone is ready to admit the advice. O people! The people of Aad disobeyed Our Revelations. We sent disaster on them which was a very severe punishment. A screaming hurricane came upon them on a day of continuous misfortune. We extracted the people, who used to consider themselves physically very strong, as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted. Take warning from such occurrences!
