The people higher in ranks (L-3172)

وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ 10  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ 11  فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ 12  ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ 13  وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنَ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ 14  عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّوْضُونَةٍ 15  مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ 16  يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ 17  بِأَكْوَابٍ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍ 18  لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ 19

10.  Was-Saabiquunas-Saabiquun. 11.  ‘Ulaaa-'ikal-Muqarrabuun. 12.  Fii  Jannaatin- Na-'iim. 13.  Sullatum-minal-‘awwaliin. 14.  Wa  qaliilum-minal-‘aakhiriin. 15.  'Alaa  sururim-maw-zuunah. 16.  Muttaki-'iina  'alay-haa  muta-qabiliin. 17.  Yatuufu  'alay-him  wildaa-num-mukhalla-duun. 18.  Bi-‘akwaabinw-wa  ‘abaariiqa,  wa  ka’-sim-mim-ma-'iin. 19.  Laa  yusadda-'uuna  'anhaa  wa  laa  yunzifuun.

10. And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 11. Those are they who will be brought nigh 12. In gardens of delight; 13. A multitude of those of old 14. And a few of those of later time. 15. On lined couches, 16. Reclining therein face to face. 17. There wait on them immortal youths 18. With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 19. Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness,

It is commanded: The people, who believed first of all, are called forerunners and they will be highest in ranks on the Day of Resurrection. They will be brought near to Allaah Almighty, in Gardens of delight. Among them will be a large company of the former people and a few of the later people. They will be reclining on thrones woven with ornament, facing one another. There will circulate among them young boys made eternal; with vessels, pitchers and a cup of wine from a flowing spring. No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated.
