6b. on the day when the Summoner summons unto a
painful thing. 7. With
downcast eyes, they come forth from the graves as they were locusts spread
abroad, 8. Hastening
toward the summoner; the disbelievers say: This is a hard day. 9. The
folk of Noah denied before them, yea, they denied Our slave and said: A
madman; and he was repulsed. 10. So
he cried unto his Lord, saying: I am vanquished, so give help. |
It is commanded: The Day of Resurrection, to which these people consider nothing, will be the Day when the angel named Israfil (peace be upon him) will blow in a trumpet and call: Move up to the Field of Resurrection. It will be such terrible Place that the human beings would not have seen in their dream. They will come out from their locations (graves) with humbled eyes due to fear and spread like the armies of locusts, and race ahead toward the Caller; and the disbelievers will say by their tongues: This is a very difficult and hard Day. Although they would have to suffer from the doom of the Doomsday, but the obstinate disbelievers suffered calamities in the world also.
Listen! The people of Noah (peace be upon him)
gripped up their loins on obstinacy. Noah (peace be upon him) caused them to
understand but they did not care and said: He is a mad man. Saying this they
scolded him. Noah endured their wicked deeds. At last he invoked his Lord,
"Indeed, I have been overpowered by these people. They do not listen to
me. So take revenge from them now of their obstinacy."
