The end of the disbelievers (b) (L-3152)

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِ 23 فَقَالُوٓا۟ أَبَشَرًا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَٰلٍ وَسُعُرٍ 24 أَءُلْقِىَ ٱلذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ 25 سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدًا مَّنِ ٱلْكَذَّابُ ٱلْأَشِرُ 26 إِنَّا مُرْسِلُوا۟ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ فَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْ وَٱصْطَبِرْ 27 |

23. Kazzabat Samuudu bin-Nuzur. 24. Faqaaluuu ‘a-basharam-minnaa waahidan-nattabi-'uhuuu, ‘innaaa ‘izal-lafii zalaa-linw-wa su-'ur. 25. 'A-‘ulqiyaz-Zikru 'alayhi mim- bayninaa bal huwa kazzaabun ‘ashir. 26. Saya'-lamuuna gadam-manil- kazzaabul- ‘ashir. 27. ‘Innaa
mursilun-naaqati
fitnatal-lahum fartaqibhum wastabir. |

23. (The
tribe of) Thamud rejected warnings 24. For
they said; Is it a mortal man, alone among us, that we are to follow? Then
indeed we should fall into error and madness. 25. Has
the remembrance been given unto him alone among us? Nay, but he is a rash
liar. 26. (Unto
their warner it was said): Tomorrow they will know who is the rash liar. 27. Lo!
We are sending the she-camel as a test for them; so watch them and have
patience; |
It is commanded: Like the people of Aad, the tribe of Thamud also rebelled and disobeyed Prophet Salih (peace be upon him). He caused them to understand: I am a Messenger of Allaah Almighty (peace be upon him). Believe in Him and listen to me. They said: You are a man like us, but have neither any companion and nor Army. Why should we agree to such person who does not have any means? We are not senseless. If there had been an angel from the heaven, chieftain or king, then it could be thought. You are nothing among us. How have you been appointed for our guidance? Rather, you are an insolent liar.
It is
commanded: They will come to know very soon that who the rash liar is. We shall
send the she-camel as trial for them. O Salih (peace
be upon him): Watch their condition with
patience that what do they do and how they are punished.
