What does this Chapter teach (b) (L-3248)
Chapter “MUMTAHINAH” - (She that is to be examined) - 60
It has been described in this Chapter: Whosoever gets ready to compel the people to accept any religion or reject, he is enemy of Allaah Almighty and the enemy of the Muslims. When the Muslims have to fight such people, at that time, extending a hand of friendship towards anyone of them does not suit to any Muslim. Fight all of them collectively until they give up their stubbornness, and beat them black and blue. They desire to finish the freedom of human heart. Having sympathy with them is just like killing the humanity. They are enemies of the Truth. Don’t care yourselves, your children and wealth when you are standing before them to fight. This loss is only apparent and temporary. There is success of the Truth in punishing them. And which advantage will you reap; that will compensate your temporary loss. Freedom of everyone will prosper and no one will be able to seize others unreasonably.
Those who claimed that they were Muslims and fought only for acquiring kingdom and power, they themselves are responsible of their such act. Islam does not support them. Those who are convinced of religious freedom and do not have any enmity with anyone due to religion, and nor they molest the Muslims; only due to the reason that “why do they not adopt their religion leaving Islam”, Islam does not prevent from being kind to them, behaving with them politely and justly, having good and necessary relationships with them, as it has been explained in this Chapter. Apparent identity of the Muslims has been placed in this Chapter that after admitting their belief, whosoever will accept to escape from belief in a plurality of God, stealing, fornication, killing, forgery and deceiving, actually they are true Muslims.
After that they should try to follow the way of living in this world which the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) has determined according to the Instructions of Holy Qur’an without imitating any other religion and they should never be awe-stricken from material, casual or apparent success of any individual.
There has been taken care concerning physical and spiritual
development of the mankind in the religion Islam, whereas other religions take
care concerning only physical and bodily improvement or a very few; they have
made their object irrelevantly to acquire spiritual salvation wrongfully.
